Haryana Day Celebration
Haryana Day is celebrated on 1st November every year. The day marks the formation of the state of Haryana, which was carved out of East Punjab on lingual and cultural basis in 1966. This year Haryana will celebrate its 58th formation day. We celebrated Haryana Day with traditional fervour and gaiety. The students delivered speeches on the history of Haryana. The students came in traditional dresses of Haryana and made the day memorable. The students presented Haryanvi songs and dances. Our students enthralled the audience with an enchanting folk dance performances. They artfully depicted the state’s rich culture, history and heritage. Our Most Honourable Chairperson, Dr. Pavitra Ji Rao in her address said, Haryana is a progressive state with glorious history, rich culture, heritage and achievements galore in agricultural, industrial, sports and education. On the occasion our Most esteemed Principal, Dr. Kishor Ji Tiwari said that Haryana is a land of brave persons who have made immense contributions in the freedom movements of our nation as well as in defence forces. Let’s revel in the cultural magnificence of Haryana and embrace its bright future. Some glimpses of the celebration are being shared.
